2、 Classification criteria for severity of dust explosions

The classification of the consequences of dust explosions should comprehensively consider the number of workers working in hazardous areas and the degree of impact of the explosion on surrounding buildings. Based on the principle of classifying production safety accidents, the severity of explosion consequences should be ranked from high to low as particularly severe（5) The five levels of major (4), major (3), general (2), and minor (1) are classified according to the following criteria:

1. Especially significant (5): Accidents that exist in the workplace and are likely to cause more than 30 deaths, or more than 100 serious injuries, or direct economic losses of more than 100 million yuan;

2. Major (4): Accidents that exist in the workplace and are likely to cause 10 to 30 deaths, 50 to 100 serious injuries, or direct economic losses of 50 to 100 million yuan;

3. Major (3): Accidents that exist in the workplace and are prone to causing 3 to 10 deaths, or 10 to 50 serious injuries, or direct economic losses of 10 to 50 million yuan;

4. General (2): Accidents that exist in the workplace and are prone to causing less than 3 deaths, or less than 10 serious injuries, or direct economic losses of less than 10 million yuan;

5. Mild (1): The workplace does not exist or is not likely to cause no deaths or serious injuries.
